"The Big Red One"

"Ride the Boat!" Land at Omaha Beach and secure a beachhead there. Eliminate German resistence on the Atlantic Wall and assist the 5th Ranger Battalion in securing the two gun emplacements that overlook the beach. Procede inland to secure objectives as directed by the Allied Command.

Expect fierce resistence from the German 352nd Infantrie-Division, known to be manning positions along the Atlantic Wall above overlooking Omaha Beach.

Be prepared for a long, hard fight, directly into the teeth of the toughest, most hardend and imposing German defensive fortifications on the field.
